Buckshot Roulette is a high-stakes survival strategy game that reimagines Russian Roulette using a 12-gauge shotgun instead of a revolver. Created by indie developer Mike Klubnika, the game blends psychological tension with calculated risk, challenging players to outlast their opponent through smart decisions and strategic bets. First released on itch.io in December 2023, it quickly gained attention for its intense, unpredictable gameplay and atmospheric design.
In each match, one player acts as the dealer, managing the shotgun and shell loading, while others play as gamblers, wagering “drops” to influence the direction of the gun. Success isn’t just about luck—it’s about reading your opponent and knowing when to take a risk.
Rounds last 15 to 20 minutes, offering fast-paced yet suspenseful action. The AI dynamically responds to player choices, ensuring no two matches feel the same.
Buckshot Roulette also features unique items that impact gameplay. Use a Pack to recover health, a Hand Saw to increase damage, or a Magnifying Glass to reveal shell types. Other tools like the Mobile Phone, Beer, and Polarity Switch add even more layers of strategy, making every round a fresh challenge. Will you play it safe—or risk everything to win?
