Bonko is a physics-based puzzle platformer where a bald little hero must escape a series of tricky rooms by turning obstacles, switches, crates, and the environment into solutions. Each level presents a compact challenge: reach the exit door while navigating gaps, traps, moving platforms, gates, ropes, and other hazards.
The gameplay is built around experimentation and clever movement. Push floating crates into water to create makeshift rafts, climb ropes to reach higher platforms, or grab horizontal bars and swing across gaps that are impossible to clear with a normal jump. Some switches only work while Bonko is standing in the right place, while timed stone gates force you to act quickly after activating them.
What makes Bonko especially enjoyable is the way its simple physics mechanics evolve into creative puzzles. A crate can become a bridge or raft, while a seemingly dangerous obstacle may actually be the key to escaping the room. The difficulty gradually increases as new mechanics are combined, rewarding observation, timing, and problem-solving rather than speed alone.
