Floating Sandbox is a realistic 2D physics sandbox game where you can experiment with ships, water, fire, explosions, and structural damage without any missions or time limits. Instead of following a campaign, you're free to create your own scenarios and watch advanced physics simulations unfold in real time. The game features a wide selection of vessels, including tugboats, cargo ships, ocean liners, and warships, each with unique buoyancy and structural properties.
Choose a ship, place it on the water, and unleash powerful destruction tools. Drill holes to flood the hull, slice ships apart, ignite fires, trigger explosions, apply extreme heat, generate storms, or send vessels flying with massive force. Every action produces realistic results as water floods compartments, fires spread, metal bends, and ships gradually lose stability before sinking or breaking apart.
With no predefined objectives, Floating Sandbox encourages creativity and experimentation. Recreate famous maritime disasters, test a ship's durability under extreme conditions, or simply enjoy watching detailed physics at work. Regular updates and a passionate community contribute new ships and content, ensuring there's always something new to explore. Whether you're fascinated by naval engineering or love destruction simulators, Floating Sandbox delivers an immersive physics-based experience where every experiment tells a different story.
