Pick a city (like Athens or Sparta) and start playing. Your main goal will be to build up a prosperous polis. Your success is measured by the number of inhabitants your city has. Build more buildings, improve the conditions of your city and fight against others. The game is saving itself as you progress, so you can come to your game after.
