Become one of the pioneers in the wagon party who head west from Independence, Missouri to the Willamette River and valley in Oregon. Don't forget to stock up on provisions which you will need during your long journey. Later, you will have to make decisions about how much to eat, when and how much to rest and so on. The Oregon Trail brings simulation elements and planning ahead is a significant part of this game. Discovery and adventure come hand in hand with some mini-game-like activities, such as hunting and the excitings floating down the Dalles River.
