As long as you get all 4 RRs and Park Place and Boardwalk you have it made, don't worry about the Utilities they are worthless, so concentrate on Park Place and Boardwalk and the Choo Choos hahahaha
The AI has it fixed so I land on my properties with houses but no one else does. Ditto Utilities and railroads I own. The dice rolling seems to favor the AI players and penalize the human player.
100% agree. I was showing my wife, 10 times in a row, 10!!!! I basically lost my $200 for either landing on income tax, or chance with a "go back 3 spaces" or go to jail, or luxury tax ($100) then landing on AI tiles.
Worst streak was the AI only having 4 tiles in the bottom left area, and I rolled 3 doubles so I landed on each one of their ones perfectly...
I get randomness in games, but like, that is just not possible...
Also, in that 10 times in a row thing, I landed on luxury tax 4 times in a row - that is like some .0001% chance of happening...so suuuuuure, it is "possible"....but really, it's not, it is totally not lol
Sucks! I had hotels on all yellow properties and played the entire games and not once did he land on my property, BOTS ****
Some crazy deals and trades by other 'players' but I like it.

ReplyDo you know what happens if you win? A few piddly fireworks go off. There's nothing else. The game doesn't even stop running. Every button is blacked out, and the clock is still ticking.

ReplyJust won a game with $44,243 against 4 tycoon players. Best so far.
I never play with that many bots. I only play with 1 tycoon. however, after this game, i am going to try 4 players and see if i can win.
I never lose.
Reply1. Play against Tycoons...the others are annoying constantly making ridiculous trades.
2. Made sure to own at least 1 property in each group.
3. Trade for light blue ASAP. I always trade for the first light blue for a few dollars more than the normal price.
4. Railroads are great for trading. It makes it easier to obtain the light blue group.
5. Spend the $750 to build hotels on light blue. Before long you will have enough money to trade for all of the orange.
6. Since the bots can't get a group using this strategy you'll always win.
