ReplyDo you know what happens if you win? A few piddly fireworks go off. There's nothing else. The game doesn't even stop running. Every button is blacked out, and the clock is still ticking.

ReplyJust won a game with $44,243 against 4 tycoon players. Best so far.
I never play with that many bots. I only play with 1 tycoon. however, after this game, i am going to try 4 players and see if i can win.
I never lose.
Reply1. Play against Tycoons...the others are annoying constantly making ridiculous trades.
2. Made sure to own at least 1 property in each group.
3. Trade for light blue ASAP. I always trade for the first light blue for a few dollars more than the normal price.
4. Railroads are great for trading. It makes it easier to obtain the light blue group.
5. Spend the $750 to build hotels on light blue. Before long you will have enough money to trade for all of the orange.
6. Since the bots can't get a group using this strategy you'll always win.

ReplyIf you are having a bad run landing on things try offering to buy the cheapest set. The bot will surrender these easily and you have a money earning set

HERE'S THE IMBA STRAT:
ReplyThe most profitable colors are light blue and orange from far. Third most profitable is dark blue. Try to focus on one of these colors by trading if necessary. Utilities and Railroads are probably the less profitable choices.
Most of all, use the same strategy as the tycoon bots; mortgage all your properties as soon as you have 3 from the same color and build as much as possible.
Finaly if you play 1v1, don't hesitate to choose auction, the bot will stop bidding around the 7th time, use that to make him lose money or have cheap deals for yourself.
A fun version of the game, it works well and is not too difficult. I wish I had found it before today.
