The world of Fallout has seen a nuclear war and you now have to survive in this challenging and unknown environment. Your character grew up underground, secluded and safe, but now he has to explore the world in which modern civilization ceased to exist 80 year ago. It is a dangerous world. Radiation, mutants and violence – this is what you have to face everywhere. In order to protect people from dying of dehydration you have to find the water purification controller chip. Your character will develop and gain experience through fighting and solving various tasks. When fighting you can use various weapons and types of attacks.

Fallout 1 was released on DOS, which is what we had before Windows, it wont run on Windows, so you need DOSbox which is a reputable DOS emulator that lets you use DOS games and applications

Doesn't work. I create my character but the next screen is blank and the mouse is a planet for a little while before disappearing completely.

no sound. tried a couple of solutions . downloaded other people config and so on no luck.
then i looked at other file sizes and its clear ... their are no sound just like movies where cut.

It's to lower the file size for easy downloading. You can maybe add them yourself if you download them from elsewhere.

This game has hours of gameplay and replay value.
Graphics can be adjusted to how you please (No blood, Cursing etc...)
The game contains a very engaging story that takes you across the desert wasteland in search of a new Water Purification Chip.
If you want to rush into the game quickly, the game has a few default characters to choose from. But if you are feeling creative you can customize and create your own character with his or hers own ability's.

While offline the game runs smooth it may run slow online due to both your internet connection and the games file size.
The game can be hard for new comers but looking at some online manuals can make you a sub average player with in trial and error.
The game is the equivalent to a Rated M game but this can be changed in the pause menu.
The game is very time consuming so I suggest you download fallout to you computer because save files online just aren't currently possible on Gameflare.

Overall the game is a classic and is a must play for any RPG Gammer who's looking for a unique game to 'fall' into.
