This game is base of the novel by William Gibson. The genre is called cyberpunk. The future is dark and dangerous. You become Case who is a cyberspace cowboy in Chiba City. In order to again get access to cyberspace, you will have to hack into the city databases. To do this, you will need a laptop and software. So go and get one! You will also be able to get some brain implant chips in order to improve your skills. Selling body parts will get you money to buy new technologies. Later, you will have to face the Als who control the crucial databases.
