This is a fighting game in which you can choose one of the eight characters called Ryu, Ken, E. Honda, Blanka, Chun Li, Zangief, Guile and Dhalsim. With your character you have to compete against the other fighters and later against the four boss characters (M. Bison, Vega, Sagat and Balrog). Each character has a specific personality, reason to want to win the fights, and a specific fighting style. Street Fighter II lets you use powerful moves specific to each of the characters. Ability to project fireballs or channel electricity are just two examples of these.
