ReplyI said somethings wrong below
ReplyI love this game but I don’t have the set so I went here to play because I could not find anywhere else to play but having so many bugs and glitches it is practically unplayable but I still have to bear with this. I hope the person who made this will fix all the problems
Replyit is acceptable but if you spam the end turn button you will have infinite turn and it ends turn slow I mean I won just because the computer kept going in jail so it could go to my expensive properties over and over again
Replythe graphics are bad
but it is ok
but I think they are okay
i have beat the computer over and over again i love this game
ReplyIf you can't beat the bots, then you don't know how to play monopoly. I NEVER lose because I know how to trade. The key to the game is never...never let them get a group. Then work a trade for light blue and build hotels. Before long you'll have enough dough to trade for orange. When the bots cant build because you wont let them get a group you will always win.
"You" can not let them get a group but you cant stop the bots from trading. I've won once since playing and its not because of not knowing how to trade or gain property. Its the simple fact that as the human player you rarely ever land on what you need. Bots are doing whatever and end up with groups of property and you land on everything they own.
The key is to trade as soon as the bots get a property untill you have 1 of each group. Even if you have to mortgage to do so. Yes the bots will trade with each other but as long as you have one they cant build. Buy railroads and utilities when you land on them because the bots love them as will trade props for them. Again...I never lose. I start out with a lot of mortgages but will always win when I get enough to build on light blue. That gives me income before long I can buy orange and its soon over for the bots. Yes the game is rigged against you, but if you are SMART then you will always win.
And it's ok to pay too much for a property to assure you block bots from building. Again, you need just 1 property in each group to start with. Then trade for light blue. The rest is patience.
I've only lost 1 time. That was because one of the bots beat me to being able to obtain 1 property in dark blue. I always trade for one of them as soon as a bot buys one. Even if I have to mortgage to do so. The rule is...don't let the bots build. You have to stop them from getting a group...no matter what. You will finally be able to build on light blue for $750 hotels. That will get you out off debt and on the road to win. NEVER FAILS!
Another tip...buying 2 in a group is good for trading. A bot will always trade for a premium to get 2 leaving you 1. That and the railroads and utilities are how i trade to finally get light blue and at the same time keep the bots from obtaining a group.
You don't need the gitches to win. That just ruins the game when you cheat. Just play to outsmart them. YOU CAN DO IT!
I've noticed Oddball's glitch too, when clicking twice on a roll or end turn button. It might have been fixed, but I'm just careful to click the button once.
ReplyI've had issues where the game freezes if you're trading your properties (not morgaging or selling) to get out of bankriptcy. There's no way to restart it, so the game just ends with no result. I guess I'll have to make the final transaction "mortgage" or "sell" to avoid that glitch.
Otherwise, it has been really fun and addictive. I don't know many people willing to play the Monopoly board game, and the modern Hasbro video games are slow-moving with a heavy focus on animations, making them clunky and boring to play. This one is still fun. The animations and sounds are fun and reflect the classic board games. It moves along quickly, and the board is on full display allowing you to strategise and enjoy a game in about 45-75 minutes. Often the bots are not willing to make great trades, but people behave similarly, so it's part of the game. I'm glad it can be played here for free.
the game coding is awful. i added a player so it's 3 of us and one of them skips a roll while the other magically teleports around the board getting properties it needs + money. trying to be okay with it but it's counterintuitive
ReplyRidiculous. Idk what type of code was used to make this game but its terrible. Its not fun when you already know the game is against you and you are literally cursed from the start. For example, you build houses or have hotels and the entire side of a board owned yet the other pieces never land on your side. But they an have a whole color owned and you land on it multiple times while the other pieces don't. It would be fun if it was fair, but the obvious creation that the human player loses makes this game terrible.
i think your luck is better on entrepreneur mode
not true because I was not on that mode yet the computer kept missing my three house orange properties and kept getting money on the community cheese in between
Read my comments above. The key to winning is not letting the bots get a group...no matter what. Mortgaging and paying too much is ok to control the board. When you finally are able to build on light blue by trading smart as I outline above...Then you will ALWAYS WIN.
i cant even open monopoly,...how do i get past the ads? they dont allow me to log in
